1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using WorksNear you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using WorksNear on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

2. Who may use WorksNear

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

3. What WorksNear is — and is not

WorksNear is an introduction platform. We publish listings and route applications and inquiries between users. We are not an employer, staffing agency, contractor or party to any agreement you reach with another user. We do not supervise work, set pay, guarantee results, verify every claim made in a listing, or hold money between users. Any hiring, engagement, payment or contract is strictly between you and the other party.

4. Your responsibilities

• Post accurate listings and profile information, including real pay ranges and locations.
• Comply with the employment, licensing, tax and safety laws that apply where the work happens.
• Do not discriminate in postings or hiring on any basis protected by law.
• Do not post illegal work, adult services, multi-level marketing schemes, or roles that require paying a fee to start.
• Do not scrape, resell or bulk-export listings or profiles.
• Do not impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your business, licences or certifications.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant WorksNear a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the marketplace. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Browsing is free. A free job seeker account includes 5 applications; paid plans are listed on the pricing page.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through PayPal and renew until cancelled.
• Cancelling stops future renewals. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Partial periods are not refunded except where required by law.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
• If a payment fails, your plan may be suspended until payment succeeds.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, creates a safety risk, or is used for fraud. You may close your account at any time; unpaid amounts remain due.

8. Disclaimers

WorksNear is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that a job or worker will be found, that any engagement will be satisfactory, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorksNear is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or earnings, arising from your use of WorksNear or from any interaction with another user. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify WorksNear against claims arising from your listings, your conduct, your engagements with other users, or your breach of these terms.

11. Disputes between users

Disputes over work, pay or conduct are between the users involved. We may provide records of platform activity where legally required, but we do not arbitrate outcomes.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continuing to use WorksNear after a change means you accept the updated terms.
